word. redefined.

i have never been good at new years resolutions.

"Between saying and doing, many a pair of shoes is worn out"... Italian proverb

so why not try in september?

in in attempt to update this more, to actually blog, to write, as i say i love to do, to use these words, i have realized i needed to be more practical, more personal, more persistent, and much much more flexible. is there a p word for that?

i have been known to send some friends a "quote of the day" (qotd) and lyrics (lotd) and i am always wishing i had a place to randomly quote things i overheard, whether on tv or in person or a story being told to me. but when a simple sentence or two has any profound affect - or provokes (p's!) an emotion - i really like that....

so with that simplicity - i redefine word. to be just that.

to start the "new year" right...

QOTD:

"Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do." - Pope John XXIII

Hey kori. Very cool. I like the idea of a blog. Maybe I'll do one too :)
